What is elder law?
Elder law refers to those areas of the law that primarily affect the elderly, like medical care, financial aid, estate planning, elder abuse, etc. This, of course, does not mean that these types of law are elder exclusive. Instead, when speaking of elder law, we are simply referring to the laws relevant to the elderly, their families and their caregivers.

Instead, we individually craft advance directive documents, like Health Care Proxies, Wills, Trusts and Powers of Attorney. This includes Medicaid and Long-Term Care Planning, Guardianship, Probate and Real Estate Planning.
Guardianship?
Since we have a wealth of experience in this area, we have a particular focus on guardianship because we know that families rarely plan for their aging family members that may require assistance and care, especially when they become incapacitated. When this happens, we can go to Guardianship Court and fight for our clients, but preferably, we want to help families avoid much of this process by building a guardianship plan.
